Name: Guilt Age: As old as the first cover-up. Appearance: A constant, nagging itch you can’t scratch. Occurrence: Every time you think you’re in the clear. Effect: Insomnia, avoidance, and the occasional panic attack. Reason: Because you did something you knew was wrong.
I normally see remorse as those words that are floating in the air right after I said them and I see them there, suspended, and I wish so hard I could pick them up and put them back in my mouth.
I think that in order for human beings to grow up, they must see their bare faces, so that most people don't know themselves because they will boldly prune the dirt inside them. So they live under the illusion of error and fantasy
Love this series. When I read about regret occurring whenever you have too much time to think, it was like looking in the mirror.
P.S. the descriptions of each stage's appearance are fresh and amazing
I agree!
Thanks Will!
Brilliant as allways
Obrigado Rolando.

Interesting imagery!
Thanks Bill!
All this is missing are the cards to go with them, you know, like those most-wanted Iraqui playing cards...
