Very nice to meet you, Anna. Your husband sounds like a real angel. I’m glad you took part in this questionnaire, as you seem like a fascinating person. Also, my wife is also obsessed with baseboards and other obscure dust-collecting spots!

Thank you! And he is. Please tell your wife I "see her."

What terrific answers to this questionnaire Made laugh about the baseboards, the "marriage counselor" joke and the overall love story. Have to say it again: Terrific Anna! and Remy!

I noticed the dirt on the baseboards for the first time this year. I wish I could go back to the before time.

I'm sober and never notice the dirt on the baseboards, but you can "blame it on my ADD, baby." At last, an appropriate time to use that quote! It wouldn't work out well if I said that to my hubby when he finds the water running in the laundry room sink for goodness knows how long, or the gas burner merrily flickering away under nothing... dirty baseboards pale in comparison.

My husband actually has ADD too! Food for thought...

We ADD'ers don't notice little things like baseboards. Squirrels, though... 😂

Nice meeting you Anna ✨️

A "No drinking life" is one of a kind. I resonate so much with that mundane capacity to see things.

I loved this conversation you had with Remy. It was so nurturing, funny, and down to earth. I am super curious about your words and work now.

Bravo Remy! These questions do pour out a glimpse into the soul of your guest. An inside view of what it feels like to talk with a new friend.

Brilliant comme toujours!

Anna, you made me look under my desk (which is against the wall). All I can say in my defence is baseboards aren't called base for nothing.

(In Britain they're called "skirting boards". Don't know what to make of that. Men skirt round them? In France they're called "plinthes". That one stumps me completely.)

Thanks for your questionnaire, funny and with heart.

"I admit that, in my past, I've fallen for some pretty despicable men. Against my better judgment, I've allowed myself to be taken in by their wit and charm. A folly of youth? Maybe. But I was pretty thorough about it."

Girl... Same.
