That's more like it! You need to channel your inner victim and martyr. Perhaps you should spend more time in the U.S. We have turned it into an art form.
Remy, thank you for the recommendations and the support. Much appreciated. I look forward to viewing your films.
About 10 years ago I had a blog where I interviewed filmmakers and storytellers. Though not active now, it's still up at wwwDOTthefilmmakerlifestyleDOT com. Be well. Bob G at shortfiction24.
Hi Remy!! :) Former documentary producer here - waving from my couch away from the film industry ;) Your work is beautiful!! And I very much enjoy your musings!!
Thank you for (re)introducing yourself. As an author, filmmaker, and writer of the occasional self-pitying essay, I found your introduction delightful and refreshing.
Yeah I read some of your stuff earlier today. I had friends that were goths in my teens so you article on this made me smile, and reminded me lots of memories.
Thats awesome. If you were to read through in chronological sequence - it tells a tale that may or may not be able to be turned into a series of grungy short films...
I dont know if there is a market for Gen x hobo life NZ nostalgia but its possible there will be a big market in 10 years.
I just watched your film Leave to Remain. Absolutely loved it. The frustration that the film tries to convey comes across very well. I'm not in that position of having to deal with bureaucracy on that level, but I found it infuriating how indifferent the officials in positions of power are shown to be.
I suppose you have achieved your goal as a filmmaker if it makes me angry at such a cruel system. Well done – by the way, I don’t usually get angry. Brexit is enough on my level of anger… this is on a different level.
What! No self pitying or self promotion! I'm outraged.
Just a tinnnnyyyyyy bittttttt :)

Ahh hell yeah. Thanks for the re-introduction, Remy, I’ve been curious about your film work, I’ll check some of these out later!
Cheers Clyde!
Hey Remy, as a former screenwriter myself I’d love your thoughts on my take on the future of media

Fantastic films! I cried, I laughed, was shocked, transported!
Thank you so much Nadia. it means a lot.
I have to especially show Leave to Remain to my husband. He's going to love it!!!

It was a delightful surprise to read this Remy. I can’t be the only one with questions. I need you to have an AMA section 😉
Thanks Danusia! If you have questions feel free to DM. Is there a way to add an AMA section? I couldn't see one.
I’m encouraging you to create one 😉

Thanks Mesa!
As I said to a co-worker; you can always tell who the director is on a film survey, they are the person not carrying anything. 😬
hell yeah, you''re a bum for most of the year, you can enjoy being treated like a prince for a while :)
